Getting Started

You’ve decided to finally take the steps you need to protect your family. By now, you should have seen that Yeager Law is a special type of legal practice that will provide you and your family the sort of professional knowledge, guidance, and attention that you deserve.

The first step is to schedule your personal consultation. Call us at (661) 471-2177 to request your personal estate planning session.

When you schedule your personal estate planning session, we block off the time needed to put your plan together without feeling rushed. During our session, we will answer all your questions about estate planning. We realize that there is a lot to consider. In some cases, you will not even know what to ask. Don’t worry. We educate you so you are able to make informed choices.

You will also want to speak with your spouse and other loved ones about who you would want to manage your finances and your health when necessary. These do not need necessarily need to be the same for both spouses but they often are. Please gather the personal information (name, birthdate, address, and phone number) for each child, beneficiary, and proposed agent in your estate plan. Please gather and bring all your important documents, such as grant deeds, financial statements, divorce decrees and pre-marital agreements.

Only after we have decided to work together will we discuss our fee structure and design options.

Assuming you and your attorney form a good fit, we can begin designing your personal plan right away and provide you a fee estimate for your plan. We will also set a signing date approximately 3-4 weeks in the future so you will know exactly when your plan will be ready.

Contact Yeager Law for any questions, concerns, or comments.
